Another weekend has come and gone and we're into March tomorrow. Amazing how time flies. I think I need to start making weekend plans as we just sit around and hang out. I know that's not a bad thing as it's time spent together but it would be nice to do more. The weather being sucky isn't helping matters but soon it will be spring and summer and it will be great to be out and about. I'm hoping to take the kids to Battersea Park zoo on Wednesday morning if it's nice out. Mimi has school in the afternoon but it's not far to go to the zoo and we can always eat lunch there and Charlie can nap in the stroller anyway. We'll see how the week goes.
We did some baking, we did a web cam, Kirk and N took apart the nursing chair in her room. Finally, as it's been broken for a while and Charlie started climbing on it which makes it kinda dangerous. Kirk has promised her a purple chair for her birthday so I better start looking for one soon.
I just finished my first week of WW and am pleased to say I have survived without killing anyone out of hunger. Not to eat them of course, just that I am extra cranky as I'm trying to adjust from eating 500000000 calories a day to something like 1500 I think. It gets better with each day though. I need to build in some exercise into my days which will be easier once the weather improves. I hate going to the gym so my exercise has to be in the form of walking. I'd consider swimming but at the moment there is no chance in hell of me getting into a bathing suit. Who knows, once I lose my weight I might join the gym as it has a pool and when I am thin I will be happy to get into a bathing suit. I weigh in tomorrow morning so wish me luck.
The photo is of the kids from yesterday in the playroom. They both have a weird fascination with baskets and sitting in them so here they are, sitting in one together. Charlie was there first (he emptied out the balls that were in there) and then Noemie climbed in and they were feeding each other playfood. They played well most of the weekend which is always a good thing when stuck indoors in canoe weather!
